User Access
This page details information relating to creating new users in WEMS.
The available User Types that can be specified in the "Users" section within WEMS are:
- Full Access User
- Invoicing User
- Other User Type
- Registration User
- Settlement Statements User
- Trading User
Note that a User Type of "Main Organisation User" exists. This is a special user, and is the Main Contact of the Participant. Upon being granted access to WEMS the Main Contact with be provided with the digital certificate SHORT_MC@SHORT (where SHORT indicates the Participant's assigned Short Name within WEMS). Once this user has accessed WEMS the system will assign their details to the User Type "Main Organisation User".
Therefore, the "Main Organisation User" cannot be selected for any other user.

Note that all users have access to Reports and to File Exchange.
