Capacity Credits Assigned Since Market Start
Each year, the IMO assigns Capacity Credits to generation and demand side management facilities to meet the Reserve Capacity Requirement. In accordance with Market Rule 10.5.1(f)(iv), the number of Capacity Credits provided by each facility for each Capacity Year is provided in the file below.

Guidelines for Participants Claiming 'Committed Status' within the Reserve Capacity Mechanism
Appendix 3 of the Market Rules outlines the steps associated with the assignment of Capacity Credits. Part of the prioritisation methodology uses the status of a Facility. The guidelines for assessing Facility status have been included in Appendix 1 of the Market Procedure for: Declaration of Bilateral Trades and the Reserve Capacity Auction.
Cancellation of Capacity Credits
Under clauses 4.20.13 and 10.5.1(f)(xi) of the Market Rules, the IMO is required to publish details related to the cancellation of Capacity Credits for a Facility.
The IMO has yet to cancel Capacity Credits for a Facility. This information will be published here in the future if and when such a cancellation occurs.
