Graduate Development Program

The IMO Graduate Development Program offers successful graduates an outstanding start to a career in WA’s exciting energy industry.

During the twelve month program, graduates work within a small team environment where they're encouraged to extend themselves and continually expand their knowledge.

IMO Graduates enjoy a comprehensive orientation program together with the support of a workplace mentor to help them grow and develop in a professional role. From the outset, they are an intrinsic part of the team involved in delivering real work.

The Program is designed to ensure graduates gain wide ranging experience which builds upon the knowledge and skills already acquired at university, ensuring graduates are career ready and highly marketable within the industry at the end of the program.

Previous IMO graduates have been offered permanent positions at the end of their twelve month tenure and have come from Australia, Asia and as far as Europe.

Applications are open to students who have recently completed their degree, or are to graduate by the end of 2012. Graduate qualifications most suited to our work environment may include, but are not limited to:

  • Commerce – Economics
  • Engineering – Electrical and Electronic/Mechanical
  • Science – Mathematics
  • Law
  • IT

If you have an interest in energy markets, are client focussed and enjoy working in a challenging business environment, you have excellent communication skills, can demonstrate initiative and sound judgement and have highly developed analytical skills, we'd like to hear from you.

For expressions of interest, please contact David Stritch on 08 9323 0244 or David.Stritch@hudson.com at Hudson Recruitment.

Applications for our 2013 Graduate Development Program open on Monday 2 April 2012 and close on Tuesday 31 July 2012.

The 2012 IMO Graduate Development Program brochure is currently being updated and will be available from beginning of March. The 2011 brochure is available below.
