Background
Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) was commissioned by the Independent Market Operator (IMO) to develop a scope of works (a Work Program) to review the impacts and challenges associated with the increasing levels of intermittent generation penetration into the South West Interconnected System (SWIS).
The expected outcome from the Work Program is satisfactory solutions to the challenges and that the primary driver of achieving the market objectives, including the safe and reliable production and supply of electricity.
